Leather Race Suits Designed for the Track and the Street

A race suit has three jobs: resist abrasion in a slide, absorb impact where bones are most exposed, and stay in position so the first two actually work. Armor that shifts away from the shoulder or knee in a crash can't protect you, which is why fit matters as much as materials.

Our motorcycle racing suits use cowhide leather for abrasion resistance, CE-certified protectors at high-impact zones, and stretch panels that keep you comfortable in a full tuck and on long sessions. Each design pairs that protection with a distinctive look, so your gear performs like serious equipment and still stands out in the paddock.

To complete your setup, add motorcycle racing gloves, racing pants or a motorcycle jacket, or explore our custom motorcycle boots.

Why Choose Alpha Wing Motorcycle Race Suits

  • Abrasion-resistant cowhide: Durable leather construction built to handle the friction of a high-speed slide.
  • CE-certified armor: Protectors fitted at key impact areas for confidence in every corner.
  • Rider-ready fit: Stretch panels and a riding-position cut keep you comfortable in a full tuck.
  • One-piece and two-piece options: Pick the build that suits how you ride, from dedicated track days to mixed street and track use.
  • Designs you won't see everywhere: Bold graphics so your suit looks as good as it performs.
  • Custom options: Colors, graphics and branding built around your measurements.
  • Free shipping to the USA: Order online and get your gear delivered without extra shipping costs.

How a Motorcycle Racing Suit Should Fit

A race suit should feel snug, not loose. In your riding position (crouched on the bike with arms forward), check these points:

  • Armor placement: Shoulder, elbow and knee protectors should sit directly over the joint, not drift when you move.
  • Mobility: You should be able to reach the bars, tuck, and look over your shoulder without the suit pulling or bunching.
  • No sagging: Leather stretches and settles a little with wear, so a suit that feels slightly firm at first is normal. Excess slack is not.
  • Length: Sleeves and legs should stay in place when you lean forward, with no gap at the wrists or ankles.

Unsure about sizing? Contact our team with your height, weight, chest, waist and inseam and we'll help you choose, or go custom for an exact fit.

Built for American Track Days, Canyon Roads and Everything Between

US riders deal with extreme variety: 100°F summer sessions in Texas and Florida, cool mountain mornings in California and the Rockies, and long highway stretches in between. A good suit has to cope with all of it.
For hot climates, a moisture-wicking base layer makes a big difference, and a two-piece is easier to cool down in between sessions. For cooler rides, the snug leather cut works well over a thin thermal layer.
One thing worth knowing as a US buyer: the DOT standard covers helmets only, and there is no federal certification for riding suits. That's why we point riders to the armor certification (CE), and why you should check your track organizer's gear rules before you book.

One-Piece or Two-Piece: Which Fits the Way You Ride

One-piece suits have no waist seam, which keeps armor locked in place and gives a smooth, stable fit in a tuck. They are the usual choice for frequent track riders, and many advanced track groups require them.

Two-piece suits zip together at the waist. They are easier to put on, easier to cool down in, and more practical if you also ride on the street. If you choose a two-piece for the track, look for a full-circumference zipper, and check your track organization's rules before you book.

Not sure which one is right for you? Ride mostly on the track, and a one-piece is the safer bet. Split your time between street and circuit, and a two-piece gives you more flexibility.

BUILD A RACING SUIT THAT'S ALL YOURS Custom Motorcycle Racing Suits: Designed Around Your Body, Your Bike and Your Style

Off-the-rack suits are made for an average rider, and very few of us are average. A custom motorcycle racing suit is built around your measurements, so the armor sits exactly where it should and the leather moves with you instead of against you. Choose your colors, graphics and branding, and get a one-of-a-kind suit that fits like it was made for you, because it was. Cowhide leather resists abrasion in a slide, CE-certified armor protects the high-impact zones, and a precise fit keeps everything in position when it matters. Whether you want a clean race look or a full custom design, our team will help you build it.

I was nervous ordering motorcycle racing suit online without trying them on first, but the fit is spot on. Snug where it needs to be, flexible at the every body edge, and the palm grip is noticeably better than my old suit. Wore them on a 300-mile ride and my body didn't cramp once.

Bought these for weekend track days and they've exceeded expectations. The armor placement is smart — protected but not bulky. You can tell these were actually designed by people who ride, not just made to look tough.

Frequently Asked Questions

For frequent track riding, most riders choose a one-piece leather suit with CE-certified armor and a snug riding-position fit. If you split time between the street and track, a two-piece suit with a full-circumference zipper is a flexible alternative. Always check your track organization's gear rules first.

A one-piece has no waist seam, so armor stays in place and the fit is smoother in a tuck. A two-piece zips together at the waist and is easier to put on, cool down in and use for mixed street and track riding.

Our suits are fitted with CE-certified protectors at high-impact areas. Check each product page for the armor level (for example, CE Level 2 on selected models).
